This article is not meant to offend anyone, all statements made are my own personal opinion but these things just bug me.
These are some clothing no nos.
Bra straps and slips showing
Many men do this, black socks and sandals, this is almost as bad as white socks and sandals
It annoys me when people wear the waistband of their pants or skirts hiked up so it looks like their pockets are on their stomach and they're waiting for a flood.
Another thing that drives me crazy is when people wear cut off jeans, and there are strings hanging from the hems. This is worse if they are shorts. Cut them off!
How about those teenagers with the droopy pants with the crotch around their knees, their underwear hanging out of the top, and they're walking all over the hems.
How can teenage girls find this sexy?
I don't mind seeing tee shirts with sayings on them as long as they are not too vulgar. I don't mind seeing tee shirts with graphics on them as long as they are appropriate. I can't stand seeing cartoon like graphics with phrases in elaborate fonts that you can't read.
I consider wearing string and thong bikinis anywhere else but at the beach to be embarrassing. This is why they sell bathing suit coverups.
It's a good thing to support your favorite sports team, however it is annoying to see fans wearing one team on a shirt, another on a jacket, and still a third on a cap.
Unless you are in a production of a play on stage with a beach theme, do not wear a piece of rope as a belt.
Two colors that just do not go together.
Any item of clothing that is chartreuse.
Shirts partially tucked in and jackets and shirt hems longer than the skirt.
My ex used to do this every once in awhile and it would drive me crazy. Blue jeans, a tee shirt with a graphic or saying, a plaid flannel shirt, and a sports team cap. If that wasn't enough he would add cowboy boots to the ensemble. Maybe he knew I hated it, and would do it on purpose.
Shorts and crop tops on heavyset women.
Polyester anything
Those new styles shorts that are so long and so wide you could make an entire outfit out of them.

Maybe Your overly fashion concerned
Oooh La de dah!
I don't care what someone else thinks about what I wear or how it looks. I make my own fashion. Don't wear bras anymore they pinch or twist and are uncomfortable, same with slips. Hmm. Don't care to wear cut offs either. Thongs used to be what I wore on my feet. Now some call those flip flops. I still call them thongs and don't care if someone doesn't like it.
Cudo's to your ex, he was being himself, your WAY to picky. He was a guy and though some guys care how they dress a lot don't.
We women tend to be more fashion conciese than men. Unless your a mountain girl like me and then I don't care as long as it is comfortable and warm in winter, cool in summer.
Ropes as belt are great hillybilly style, way to go YEEEE HAW!

Some of your annoyances made me just laugh like the hiked up pockets to the belly. Not everyone cares about fashion and some CANNOT afford better clothing, just because you have bucks to look nice. Maybe what they have is what they own and it is the only way it will fit.
As far as droopy poopy drawer pants it is kids in rebellion thinking they are making adults upset and do it to annoy them which it does people like you. I just laugh at them and tell them looks like they need thier diaper changed which they do not like. Who said teen girls think it is sexy??? Ever ask any teen girl if they think it is? I know teen girls who think it is gross and that the guys wearing such a style are morons.

A lot of lil' ole grannies wear polyester from when it was fashionable, they are on a fixed income and maybe they cannot afford anything else. If it bothers you so much why not offer to buy them a nice modern outfit???
Well you all gave me a really good laugh, Not offended but I think your a bit to concerned over what other folks wear.
What grosses me out is all the people abusing their bodies with umpteen dozen body piercings and earrings. They look plain ugly, mar features and look like some metal man or woman. And wearing orange, purple, green and whatever colored hair. Most will be bald by the time they are thirty or so. It doesn't look nice to me. But hey it's their body, and their thing so live and let live. Thanks for the laugh :)
