Sub Pop Records Turns 20 - With a Concert, of Course
Sub Pop, the Seattle indie record label that brought us bands like Nirvana and Mudhoney, has turned 20 years old. They recently celebrated with an anniversary party (and concert) that showed that the label is hardly resting on its laurels, and is still vital and is signing new and exciting acts.
Sub Pop is home to many of today's most acclaimed musicians, including Iron & Wine, Helio Sequence, Flight of the Conchords, Fleet Foxes, the Go! Team, and a number of Canadian artists including Band of Horses, Wolf Parade, and The Constantines.

Sub Pop turns 20
They're still going strong, and still have a great ear for new and interesting talent. It wasn't til I looked at their site that I realized how many of their artists I liked.
