Suicide, A farewell.

Suicide, A farewell.

 Suicide - Biting the big Bazooka!

I am sure some of us had a hard time growing up. Life wasn’t always that easy and most of the times we would feel so alone and helpless; like a lost child who cannot cry. And perhaps our imagination wasn’t brave enough to suggest to us that the future might be brighter and happier, and it doesn’t always have to be this way.

But the truth is, life goes on, seasons change and miracles do happen. It’s just that these miracles would be so subtle that one forgets all about them, and as you go on it’s soon a new chapter, or may be a new story altogether.

Looking back at my life; as a kid I wouldn’t have ever imagined I’d reach the places I have today. Life was so bleak and dismal those days. I have many a times planned to commit suicide and put an end to all the pain and suffering.

 Today though, when I look back I feel so funny and stupid. And I am happy that I didn’t conk out purposefully. All that is remaining of my child hood is a few old notebook scraps and a diary. I would like to post here a poem I wrote when I was 16 and contemplating suicide – I am 25 now and life isn’t that bad now. The Poem is called Tune of life and it was designed as a farewell.

 The Tune of Life

Counting on the pills I took, I am bidding goodbye to the life I lived
My life is going to finish, but not just yet; may be there is just a few seconds left.

All the days I have lived, the memories I have ever had;
Flashing in front of me, with a tune I never heard!

The tune of my life, my dreams, or the things I wanted to do;
Or the tune of my soul- which I never heard, unwillingly though is about leave my world

I hope you stay longer, hope you stay strong, hope to meet you –
somewhere sometime when; your soul has said to you" no more"

I wish you hear the tune played through, without stopping it half way as I do
This the tune of life, you hear only when you have lived it through.
