The beach is always open every summer. Most of the people go there to have fun, to have tan, and of course to swim in the salty ocean. So in other words the beach will be crowded with lots of people. And they do this every summer. Which is for me is not the best way to relax and have fun.

For me, my summer pastime is quite different from the normal way people do. Actually I don’t do this very often because of many reasons but still this is my best way to spend summer. Of course I do this to ease the heat of the summer.

Spending summer in a province get away! This is my pastime and my relaxation.

My grandparents live in the province and not very often that I visit them. Reasons, first is the financial, our family is not a big time millionaire and my earnings is not that much. So in order to spend summer in the province I save money and of course plan for it. Second is the travel time, going there takes more than half a day including off shore travel. Third is the duration, I just don’t plan on going there to stay in just a few days instead I plan to stay for more than a week to savor every seconds of my stay.

Summer Get Away!

So, why I like to spend summer there? Here’s why. My grandparents place is located in a barrio with lots of trees, fresh fruits, and beside the river. The trees cool the place and the breeze of the wind is very relaxing. Add up a freshly picked fruits which you can also make as a juice and the sound of the river that will surely soothes into your ears. Isn’t relaxing? So why do you have to be in a crowded place when you can be in a nice and refreshing place together with your friends or relatives. So this is how I spend summer.
