Regardless of how we feel about the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq or even about the military in general, the ones that are there doing the dirty work are our family, whether they be a father, mother, son, or daughter. From my ten years on active duty in the Navy, I know first-hand what its like to be thousands of miles from home on the tip of the spear and how painful the holidays can be when spent far away from loved ones.

That sense of empathy for everyone overseas in uniform doing the dirty, thankless jobs and doing them well is why I am posting this. The website below is doing a GOOD THING and we should all be doing our share to support our troops with something more than our good intentions.
