So I'm in a bar one night and this guy randomly starts in about how awful this war is and how the troops are not doing anything to help America and just being all out ignorant and beligerant. So I turn to him and say, "You know, my boyfriend is over there right now defending your right to be an ass. Choose your words wisely." He was quiet after that.

Ok so here's the deal...my boyfriend is in the Marine corp, another very good friend of mine is in the Army, and yes I have other friends in the military as well. When ignorant people open their mouths to protest this war and do absolutely nothing but complain about their lives, they should stop and pull their heads out of their butts and realize that our men and women are defending their right to be an all out jerk.

It's because of the military that we are all able to live how we want, and yes that includes having the FREEDOM OF SPEECH (which stupid people take advantage of) and the other rights of Americans that we take for granted everyday. So stop and ask yourself, "What do I do to support my troops and my country?" If you can't come up with something immediately, you'd better think long and hard about what our men and women are sacrificing so that you can be an Ass.

Suck it up, quit complaining, display a flag, go listen to the Star Spangled Banner and after that, say a prayer and thank God over and over again that you are safe in your bed and not being shot at or bombs going off around you. Because those of you who complain, I'm sure wouldn't be able to handle being in combat anyway. That's my story and I'm sticking to it.
