Surfing in Malta
Surfing on the tiny island of Malta is pushing on to a new level. The newly registered Malta Surf Association has just hit 500 members! The season is about to start and we have over 6 months of decent waves ahead of us. Boards can be rented via the SurfMalta page on Facebook.com! The winter months offer a great opportunity to enjoy Malta's uncrowded (in fact usually empty) waves, whilst still enjoying the many cultural aspects Malta has to offer.
Over the surfing months, the island is relatively tourist free. Accommodation rates are much lower then their summertime highs. It is a great time to explore the coastline without the hectic chaos and heat of the summer months. The locals at SurfMalta will be happy to help sort out accommodation or give any advice needed.
