Susan Boyle in the Semi-Final of Britain’s Got Talent

Susan Boyle in the Semi-Final of Britain’s Got Talent

"Midnight, all alone on the pavement..."

Midnight from Cats – Susan Boyle stumbled through the first verse and didn’t hit all the notes but was getting there as she sang along. Nerves got the best of her. The voice started to fail but there were still glimpses of the rich qualities which we first, unexpectedly, loved.

She composed herself during the orchestral interlude and then came back to continue singing and captured some of what we expected.

The choice of song was touching. The ballad, by Andrew Lloyd Weber, (if you don’t know), is about an old cat, who still wants to live but is aging and looking back to its youth. It is always sentimental but sang by Susan Boyle, the middle aged woman from a small Scottish village it brought to even the most cynical throat...

“Look a new day... has begun”

She finished and the crowd erupted with their adoration.

She didn’t sing as well as we expected. Nevertheless, Piers Morgan, Amanda Holden then, even, Simon Cowell congratulated her on her performance. Nothing critical was said – the crowd and the judges loved her. Cowell actually apologised for the way he treated her before she sang the first time.

Good Luck After Susan Boyle

I just hope that she can return to a normal life. There are signs she has been cracking up a bit, but who wouldn't after being put under a microscope. I hope that she can earn some income off of her talent but not get used. Join Xomba Get PAID to write Articles Like These Honest Online Income

I corrected Susan Boyle

I wrote this article as fast as I've written anything in order to get it published as soon as possible after Susan Boyle appeared in the Semi-Final of Britain's Got Talent. It was published on Xomba even before the end of the progamme and before the singer had won through to the Final (this Saturday). I haven't found anything else about this that was published before this! That's just part of the potential of Xomba - I, a nobody from nowhere, got my story out their before Murdoch or the BBC, CNN of Fox. But, hang on, before I dissappear up my own **** I've just had to correct several glarring mistakes in the original. For example: Susan Boyle's cat wasn't liking back but looking back. Although Xomba gives writers the facility to correct these typos, we can only do so if we find them. I've seen several today in other people's articles. I'm thinking re one particular instance - wouldn't they want to know they've written "piece" instead of "peace"? I blinkin' would! My suggestion is that people PM writers about their mistakes and writers don't become annoyed with this but get on and put them right. I'm NOT suggesting that they add a comment such as "you can't spell"! Whadayathink? JOIN XOMBA HERE FREE Xomba is an international online community and anyone can join. Susan Boyle is through to the Final

Apologies for any confusion caused to the American cousins with the statement "Susan Boyle is through". Several have contacted me to ask why she is "finished", "washed up" and "out". The statement was ambiguous. The statement intended to mean that Miss Boyle had triumphed - that she had won through to the final and none of the above.
