Swine Flu Etiquette

Swine flu (also known as the H1N1 virus) is making cold and flu season even more complicated than usual. Fear of contracting the virus is forcing Americans to forego the traditional handshake and seek new ways of greeting each other. Pop culture outlets such as "The View" and "The Today Show" have advocated elbow bumps and "heiney" bumps as safe ways of greeting others during this flu season, and those who still want to risk the traditional handshake can take comfort in the increased presence of hand sanitizer in public places.
