Talent Agency To Search For YouTubers
posted November 9, 2006 - 1:42pmThe press release announced that United Talent Agency who represents Jack Black, Vince Vaughn and filmmaker M. Night Shyamalan has created an online unit devoted to identifiying new creators of Internet talent and finding work for them in Web-based advertising and entertainment.
UTA has a website registered,
but it is not operational yet. When it becomes a good-to-go-site I will post the link here.
A former UTA agent, John Lesher is now President of Paramount Vantage Pictures that made Babel, with Brad Pitt and Kate Blanchet.
United Talent Agency is looking at Internet video as the place to focus on the next generation of television and film writers and directors. (That's US!)
