Tales of Beedle the Bard Collectors Edition Sold Out! Amazon Exclusive Collector's Edition - Limited copies Now Held in Reserve!

J.K. Rowling's latest hit, The Tales of Beedle the Bard has had a tremendous response since it's release on December 4th. Many people planned ahead and pre-ordered the exclusive collector's edition available only on Amazon. Others were lucky enough to get their orders in just after the release date. Now, there was just a message that they were SOLD OUT, but for those that didn't, there may still be a chance to get some of the copies that were held in reserve. So hurry if you are trying to find one for some Harry Potter fans! These will be highly collectable!

Copies of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Standard Edition (hardcover), are still available.

If you are ordering either the standard or collector's edition from Amazon as a gift, the books will be shipped in packaging that will not disclose the contents, so there may still be time to get this shipped overnight in time for Christmas.

Here is the message that was posted on Amazon

Sold Out!
Thanks to the incredible enthusiasm of Harry Potter fans, we have sold out of all copies of The Tales of Beedle the Bard, Collector's Edition available in the United States. To ensure that we have enough replacement copies (for example, for books damaged during shipping), we will be holding a limited number of copies in reserve. If you missed out on ordering your copy of the Collector's Edition, it is possible that a small number of copies will become available in the weeks following its release on December 4, 2008. The Standard Edition is still available at Amazon.com.
