Tally Hall

Tally Hall - a band.

For a recent story assignment, I had the pleasure to be introduced to this band. A local Michigan band, they are getting some national interest through their videos by MTV and Spin magazine.

My goal here is for you to go to their Web site, www.tallyhall.com, and see what they are about and if you like them.

Then I'd like you to come back to this Xombyte and let me know what you think about them, honestly.

Thanks.

Mark

Okay...

Listening to them now. Definitely different. Not the same kind of crap you hear coming over the airwaves everyday. Can most definitely hear the Queen influence in their intense layering and vocal harmonies, which I love because I am a HUGE Queen fan (my parents brought me up on Queen). Also, I kind of hear subtle Weezer tones ...though they don't mention them as an influence. Overall thumbs up! I'd go see them if they came to Long Island :-)

Welll...

Not much to tell from the site, Mark. I will look at their Myspace page and comment again!
