The Tampa Bay Lightning take on the Pittsburgh Penguins tonight. The Penguins are red hot and are quickly becoming Canada's team in the United Startes (due to the Sid the Kid craze across Canada_. After a 5-1 home victory on Monday, the Penguins look to make it two in a row.

The Lightning have been up and down all season, they can beat you 3-0 on one night, then lose 7-1 the next night. However with the play of the Lightning recently they are only 2 places out of last in the Eastern Conference. The Lightning may also look to break up the big 3 of Martin St. Louis, Vincent Lecavalier and Brad Richards. The big three just can't seem to take the Lightning to the next level.

They won the Stanley Cup in 2004 but that team also had Nik Khabibulin, Dave Andreychuk, Pavel Kubina, etc. Come 2008 they don't have the strong supporting cast, but that said if you have a former MVP, former playoff MVP, and a former World Cup MVP on your team, they should be able to get in the playoffs.
