Tech Toys with High "Wife Acceptance Factor"

Here's an article that may help guys who are drooling over the latest high-tech home electronics but wondering how to get them past their budget-conscious significant others. Cnet.com first wrote about the subject a few years ago and has now done an update that profiles the top 10 home electronics products with a high "Wife Acceptance Factor" (WAF).

As the article (link below) notes, "Today, WAF is one of those dirty little secrets of the electronics world, and it's both openly discussed and rarely talked about, because it's now integrated into the DNA of so many products."

These home electronics products range from general types of products (dual-tuner DVRs, digital SLR cameras) as well as specific items such as Nintendo DS Lite, the Philips Digital Photo Display, and the Sony VPL-VW50 home-theater projector. Some of them are pretty pricey, but at least the article includes buying guides and price checks for getting a good deal on home electronics products.

It's almost November, not too early to start putting in some hints for those holiday home electronics goodies that you want. Happy shopping...
