Ted Kennedy In Hospital With Seizure

Senator Ted Kennedy suffered an apparent seizure this morning around 8:30 at his home in Hyannis Port. Ted Kennedy has been hospitalized at Massachusetts General Hospital after suffering the seizure.
The 76 year old Kennedy was airlifted from Cape Cod Hospital to Massachusetts General at 10:30 am for further examination.
This past October, Ted Kennedy had surgery to repair a nearly complete blockage in a major neck artery. The discovery was made during a routine examination of a decades-old back injury. No connection has been made between the seizure and blocked artery.
Ted Kennedy is an 8 term senator and head of the well known Kennedy clan.
