Ted Nolan is Out as Islanders' Coach

Ted Nolan and the New York Islanders have agreed to a parting of the ways. In his two seasons as head coach Nolan had a record of 75-68-21. Last season Nolan and general manager Garth Snow clashed on ideas about what direction the franchise should take.
