Teenagers and Credit Cards are a Bad Mix

Credit cards for your teenager or college student? The credit card offers for student credit cards will start pouring in, but you would be wise to stay away from normal credit cards, mainly because these types of cards do not promote responsible spending. Although a credit card does allow young adults to make mistakes about spending while learing from them, giving them a credit card will more than likely end in disaster. You have no way of stopping them from spending the whole limit in one go, and they are putting themselves (and you) in debt.
