Television: The Demon Box

Television is a demon that controls all of our thoughts and emotions. It keep us locked in, staring at a box for wasteful hours, and no matter how much we watch, we never come to the end. It was created for people who live in colder climates, so that they would have something to help them get through the treacherous long winter, without going entirely insane. It requires so many of the bodies senses to watch it, that it basically drains every single creative juice from our already numb bodies. The man who created the television was horrified when he realized what it would be used for, and damned the day he created it. Unlike the radio, which can be enjoyed while cooking, cleaning, playing basketball or relaxing with eyes closed, the television requires full attention to perceive correctly and is the #1 reason obesity and heart disease are at an all time high in our country. Our brains are filled with lousy programming along with horrible commercials, that regardless how horrible, brain wash us into buying their products that we do not need, and convince us to get more and more credit cards. So the TV is also to blame for the all time high in credit card debt that plagues this world. Keeping hardworking Americans from ever realizing their dreams in life, because they “charged it” for all the worthless crap they saw on TV and were convinced they needed to “be somebody”. The only remedy is an absolute impossible one. Everyone in the world: “TURN OFF YOUR DEMON BOXES!” This of course will NEVER happen. The only way to excommunicate the world of this demon is to perform an exorcism by destroying every TV tower and cable station in the free world, for even if one tower stands someone, somewhere will stare at a box and kill all their chances for a fruitful life.
