In large doses, stress can be bad and if left unchecked can be detrimental to health. If you find yourself being overwhelmed with work and your energy level low, you are probably stressed. You need to take some time to relax.Unwind. Listed below are ten ways you can achieve rapid relaxation.
1. Do deep breathing. Slow deep breathing has calming effect on your mind. Simply breath in, comfortably expanding your abdomen first followed by your rib-cage.
2. Hit the Spa. Treat yourself to a jacuzzi and a body massage.
3. Have a good laugh. Laughter is a proven stress reliever. Don't wait for anything funny to happen, go and find yourself a spot where you can just laugh.
4. Chill out with a glass of cool water or your favourite fruit juice. Sip your drink slowly and enjoy it.
5. Walk it off. Go for a walk in your favourite park. Enjoy the scenery.
6. Listen to your favourite music. Grab your mp3 player and tune in.
