Terrell Owens and the 2009 Buffalo Bills
posted May 15, 2009 - 4:56pmWhat kind of season are the Buffalo Bills going to have in 2009? No one knows for sure but the passing game should be one of the best in the NFL! Two all pro wideouts, Terrell Owens and Lee Evans, a highly drafted tight end along with two running backs, Marshawn Lynch and Fred Jackson, that can catch the ball. Yes, there are some new comers to the offensive line but unless they are awful, Trent Edwards will have a big year throwing the ball down field. On the defensive side of the ball, some changes have been made but is it enough? Aaron Schobel DE, will be back full strength this season which will help put pressure on opposing quarterbacks. DT Marcus Stroud was re-signed to a contract extension. Hopefully, in which will be his second season with the Bills, he will become the run stopper in the middle and return to his pro bowl form of a couple of years ago. Kawika Mitchell and Paul Posluszny head up the line backing group. A couple of free agents signings could help here. Terrence McGee and Donte Whitner are veteran DB’s looking to recover from poor 2008 season. Special teams have been a strength of this team for many years, especially under special teams coach Bobby April. Head coach Dick Jauron returns for another season and the pressure is on to win. After three sub-par seasons, Bills owner Ralph Wilson and the Bills fans will not be very patient. Prediction for the 2009 edition of the Buffalo Bills, 9 wins and 7 losses.
