Terrorism in India has become a lifestyle.

In India bomb blasts or riots or events like Mumbai 26/11 in Taj Hotel has left us unshaken. We still have to go to work, send kids to school and send our husbands from one corner of delhi to 50 kms away office. It is a trauma we live
with every day. My sons school is 14 kms, but it takes him 2 hrs to reach home. But are we left with any options. Every time somebody steps out of the house it is a torture for the person at home to wait whole day till the sigh of relief when they enter the house. I guess our respective authorities must be doing something but whatever it is, is not good enough for us to be relaxed. We as a citizen understand the reservation and limitations our authorities are facing but is it not worth giving things a better try? Where are we lacking? Why we are not equipped enough to handle a few thousand terrorists?
Our problem is attitude. In India we have to live with all this due to one small factor that none of us are conscientious enough to do our part of the deal with full dedication. All the time our authorities are looking for scapegoats, targeting common people with the single agenda of eluding the blame. I still have hopes. There are people still who are giving their lives for the people unknown in the name of our country. But mostly those few people have nothing to do with the decision making issues. We are considered one the best equipped people with shock management in the world. But ask us are we given any choice to better life. We cry all the time that best educated population is always heading for abroad. Won’t everybody like to lead their children to a safer future? That who gets the opportunity of course wants to go towards a safer life. In India we say people are cheap as it is a country with huge population. But if we are that cheap for our Government then they should not crib about the brain drain issues. People with opportunities and options will always go for betterment.
