Breaking News - Can it be true that a European Court of Human Rights ruling is actually funding terror?
I pose this question because of a recent outcome in a case submitted to the European Court of Human Rights‘, through the Human Rights Act’.
A known terrorist sympathizer and funder, who is also a preacher of hate towards the west has just won an appeal against his detention in the UK.
Abu Quatada who arrived in the UK in the 1980’s on a forged passport and began spreading his radical word of hate by means of preaching to moderate Muslims in the UK. He was ultimately detained with good reason by the UK courts.
Quatada is wanted in Jordan on terror charges which include funding terrorist, although he claims that the evidence was extracted from him through torture by the Jordanians.
The 48-year old preacher is also known as Osama bin Laden’s right hand man in Europe.
There was obviously enough evidence to detain him in the first place by the UK courts, but what has happened in the mean time?
It has been argued by the European Court of Human Rights that the detention and subsequent threat of deportation goes against the Human Right Convention. The UK had adopted its laws on terrorists after the 2001 terror attacks in the USA. It was these laws that the Human Rights court said “violated” the Human Rights Convention.
