With all of the breaking news coming out of Xomba these past few days, I could barely sleep last night!

First of all, trying to decide what fictional character I would be for the contest is a monumental task. And then I read Free Cracker 4 Jack's entry about Superman and thought, way to set the bar there buddy...thanks a lot.

So all day I have had this constant, streaming list of fictional characters flickering in my mind, like an RSS feed from my inner brain that keeps cycling through the possibilities.

Do I look to books? Comics? Television? The choices are endless. But I will confess that the very first character I thought of was H.R. Pufnstuf from the old Hanna Barbera television shows of my childhood. I have absolutely no idea why him and Witchiepoo jumped out in to the forefront...bizarre!

Now you try to sleep after conjuring up those images of the magic island with the magic flute.
