The advantage of traveling by sea
The advantage of traveling by sea
I love traveling as I have mentioned in a previous post and I have traveled using many methods. I have traveled using cars, buses, trains, planes and once on a ship. With the ship, I didn’t travel a long distance, but it was definitely intriguing. Just being out there in the ocean on the ship is one of the most beautiful moments I have had in my life. Feeling the water splash on my face, feeling the wind breezing by and hearing the waves is just a feeling I can’t justify with words. I was around 12 years old when I took this trip with my family. It was my first time on a ship and so far my only time also. I stayed on the top deck with my family and I felt like jumping right in the water and really enjoying it. The problem is I am not much of a swimmer…
We stayed on the ship for a few hours and went to Ellis Island and then went back home. It was a short trip, but I saw the Statue of Liberty for the first time and that was really amazing. I would however, like to a longer cruise in a ship, such as to Hawaii or any other place for that matter. I want to travel by sea and enjoy the water that I so much love. I want to travel far and slowly, very slowly so that can really take in every moment of the water’s beauty.
