That seems to be the nature of things, that's for sure. 24-hour news channels with snippets and sound bites, but without much substance, designed for an American public with a short-attention-span and short memory, who would rather believe what they see on the TeeVee than actually do a little research and find out the truth for themselves. Ask those people when was the last time they read a book and they probably couldn't tell you. Sad.
