The Battle of Humanity: Al Gore vs. Radical Islam

The Battle of Humanity: Al Gore vs. Radical Islam
Over the past two decades, there have been two seemingly major issues emerge throughout the world. One of them has directly caused real death and injuries and threatens to end life as we know it. The other has been fabricated to try to force draconian legislation on a global basis to stop the impending crisis. Which one is which depends on the perception of the individual. However, one perception is right…the other is absolutely preposterous.
The threat of radical Islam and their fascist principles can be seen throughout the Islamic-dominated Middle East and many nations in tumult from Pakistan to Ethiopia. Placating these fascists who wish nothing more than death and destruction to anyone who does not fully agree with their religious views only helps to guarantee the inevitability of a one-world Islamic government – which is their stated objective. Murder and mayhem is the primary goal for the Islamic radical in order to destabilize governments and cultures that oppose their views of religious and social practices. We have overabundant proof of these goals and the actions that have already been taken against the infidels that oppose fascist Islamists. The death and destruction is very real and can be directly and accurately attributed to the Islamists that perpetrate it.
On the other hand, we have an apparent global movement to try to save the planet from a different, but just as vicious assault carried out by everyday people living their ordinary lives. This assault comes in the form of a carefully orchestrated human attack on Earth by gradually changing the surface temperatures around the globe. But it’s not done by directly heating or cooling the atmosphere…it’s much more elaborate and extraordinarily evil in its ingenuity. The man who appears to have figured out this dastardly plot and who travels around the world to inform and warn average global citizens and leaders of nations about the oncoming disaster is the one and only, Nobel Prize-winning, carbon credit-selling, extraordinary rendition-supporting, Occidental Petroleum share-holding, “I believe it is appropriate to have an over-representation of factual presentations”, inventor of the internet: Al Gore. (How’s that for an introduction?)
This political, philosophical, and scientific genius would love for the entire world to believe that incandescent light bulbs can melt glaciers, that driving a Cadillac can bring droughts to the Amazon, and that cattle farms will cause the flooding of most of the Earth’s coastal cities. And what is the only way to prevent these things from happening?
That’s right: Government…and lots of it! (And, of course, purchasing carbon credits from Gore himself.)
Government restrictions, regulations, mandates, and outright banning of many of the things that have made us a free and prosperous nation that is able to help much of the world’s poor and downtrodden people is the ultimate goal of Al Gore and the climate change alarmists. They would prefer that most of the world revert back to the simpler days of yore, but of course the leaders of the movement would have to be excluded. After all, one cannot lead the plebeian masses if one is forced to abide by the same laws that prevent the plebs from raising themselves out of abject poverty and misery. This is the same logic that resides among the ranks of radical Islam.
The frightening aspect of these two similar movements is this: One of the goals is brought on by physically and emotionally demoralizing your opponent by murder and the destruction of infrastructure and facilities…the other is accomplished through a reliance of general ignorance, stupidity, and the want to save our Earth “for the children”.
We can prevent one from happening by stopping the attacks and taking away the capability to do severe damage if attacks do occur. The other must be prevented by educating a public that does not seem to want to become educated. But just like the battle against Islamic fascism, the battle against global warming alarmists is one between political ideologies. The split between each of the two issues practically occurs right down political party lines. Democrats downplay the threat of radical Islam and hype the notion of complete global disaster brought on by changing temperatures. The feelings are the exact opposite among Republicans. No matter how much proof (or lack thereof) is presented, it seems that nobody will budge because each group believes the other side is only doing it for their own political gain. The fact of the matter is, based on real data and facts, there is a guilty party.
Al Gore and his Democrat comrades consistently come up short of logic and reason when presenting their arguments to the public. With a greatly uneducated and misinformed population and the almost evenly split membership between political parties, it doesn’t take much to convince half of the people in this country that there is a grave issue that is being either hyped or denied by the opposing party. In the Democrats’ point of view, Republicans are hyping the threat of Islamic fascism and denying the threat of anthropogenic climate change. One only needs to look at recent history and current conditions around the world to see the effects of these two matters.
Hurricanes, tornadoes, tsunamis, droughts, blizzards, floods, heat waves, forest fires – all of these things have been happening throughout history and will continue to happen with or without any human activity in the world. Changing a light bulb, riding a bicycle, or only using one square of toilet paper will neither prevent any of these natural occurrences from happening again, nor will it even affect the frequency of these events. The absurdity of the claims to the contrary is quite telling of the general misunderstanding of history and science by our country’s citizens. The political leaders advocating these “solutions” are either enormously ignorant or they are more threatening to our individual freedom and liberty than the most extreme Islamist.
On the other hand…
Flying our own airliners loaded with passengers into our own skyscrapers and government facilities, blowing up crowded subways, blowing up crowded military barracks, blowing up embassies, shooting school children in the back, murdering teenage daughters for exposing their bare shoulders or for being raped, launching rockets into crowded civilian cities, beheading journalists and teachers, and deadly protesting and rioting all in the name of the alleged “peaceful” religion of Islam – these are real events attributed to real perpetrators that have real consequences. Denying that this threat is real or equating it to anthropogenic global warming theory is utterly asinine and the ones doing so ought to be wholly embarrassed. Unfortunately, they are not. Not only are they not embarrassed, they seem to be proud of the fact that they have such a large following that agrees with this stupidity. This is the danger that we are facing today.
Apparently it is not enough that we have to fight the threat of Islamic fascism. Now we have to fight the threat of the Nobel Prize-winner Al Gore and his environmentalist minions who want nothing more than to destroy our nation through impractical legislation from our own government and through international agencies like the United Nations, who become more anti-American as each day passes. But just like Osama bin Laden, the leaders of the global warming alarmists don’t practice what they preach. Most of them have “carbon footprints” at least several times the size of the people they are trying to convince to change their lifestyle. It is nothing more than age-old hypocrisy at its worst.
The politicians who subscribe to this nonsense are the same ones who continually try to impose government regulations and restrictions in our everyday lives and increase the size and strength of our government, because they want us to believe that more government is the solution. They are the ones who have given us wildly successful and sustainable programs, agencies, and laws like Social Security, Medicare, welfare, the IRS, the Department of Education, the income tax, and many other failing/failed big-government ideas. They are the same politicians who complain about national security but refuse to secure our borders and identify illegal aliens. They are the same politicians that complain about dependence on foreign oil but refuse to drill within our own borders. They are the same politicians that complain about carbon emissions but refuse to allow construction of nuclear power plants - which emit no carbon whatsoever.
When Osama bin Laden asks his minions to give their lives for the cause, he is asking them to do something that he has not yet done and may never do. When Al Gore asks his minions to take a pledge to reduce their carbon footprints and live a “carbon neutral” lifestyle, he is asking them to do something he has not yet done and may never do. One may ask why these great leaders of such grave issues would ask people to make sacrifices that they are not willing to make themselves. One could speculate that perhaps these crusades are not as important to them after all. When all is said and done, they may feel that it’s just not worth dying for or giving up certain luxuries. If that is the case, then why is there such a concerted effort in the first place?
This is where individual ambition and glory comes into play. It appears to be nothing more than a self-aggrandizing pursuit of power and influence over anyone ignorant or stupid enough to buy what is being sold by the principal. It doesn’t matter how destructive the message and the actions that stem from it can be. The only thing worthy of attention is the primary players themselves and how effective they are at persuading their uneducated masses. It’s dangerous and it’s reckless, but as long as they still wield considerable power, they will continue to spread their caustic rhetoric and lure hapless degenerates into their ranks where they can fight for “the cause” and suffer from their own delusions of grandeur.
Both of these movements – Islamic fascism and climate change alarmism – rely on the vast ignorance of the public. Islamic fascists carry out their assault by means of physical destruction brought on by their mentally disturbed and largely uneducated followers. Climate change alarmists carry out their assault by means of appeals to emotion and “informing” the ignorant with faulty science or outright fabrications. Both are just as dangerous as the other and both can be prevented through proper education. Knowledge is the enemy of the Islamists and the alarmists, and that is why they try to silence opposition and disparage or eliminate anyone who disagrees with them. These actions are tremendously devastating to any free society and to any population trapped in the throes of political and religious turmoil.
In either case, we can only hope that optimism prevails and the messages of the opposing leaders drown out the message of chaos and negativity. We should also hope that the real threats are dealt with accordingly and those who abuse their power as influential leaders to deceive the public are held accountable for their actions.
As for the rest of humanity…let’s thank God that Al Gore and the rest of his environmentalist cronies don’t yet have the hardiness to murder people for his cause, or that Osama bin Laden and his Islamist cronies didn’t have the mental capacity to fabricate a crisis such as anthropogenic global warming.
