The Bourne Conspiracy Video Game

If you're reading this, then you play video games. And if you do, then you already know how bad movie related games are. You name a movie-based game, and i can tell you that it sucks. There are of course minor (and i mean a select few) exceptions to that rule, the LOTR games, Star Wars games, and.....well that's it. But rarely do you find a game worth it's movie counterpart, and especially one that stars a badass like Jason Bourne. Now, before i get into the meat of the game, let me fairly warn you, Matt Damon is not in this game....i know, it sucks, but hey whatever. Anyway, this is a very good movie game, and a great game in and of itself. It follows Jason Bourne as we all know and love him from the movie, story line and all, and it does it very well by sticking to the story line. The chase scenes are done perfectly, with the camera angle giving a cinematic view for an awesome game experience. The fights are great too, a few combos here and there, light and heavy attacks, and of course, Bourne inspired takedowns. These are obviously the highlight of this game. The multiple takedowns, mostly involving the use of the environment, are just what you would expect Bourne to do, and they don't disappoint in anyway. All are brutal, all are awesome, and all are pure Bourne. The graphics are good too, as are the car chases, but nothing in this games compares to the one on one (or one on three) fighting. You can even build up your "adrenaline" meter for long enough to take down three people at once. The gunplay is also done remarkably well. using only a white dot as a marker, and a red circle once aimed at an enemy. There are also, thank god, gun takedowns too, which are just what they sound like. A push of the button, a pull of the trigger, and a skull to the pavement, it's just that simple. All in all, this game doesn't disappoint in any department, and holds its head above movie games, and holds its own against other games pretty well.
