Jon Stewart has been the host of the Daily Show for some time now. Some really funny comedians have come through there and moved onto movie success.

The Daily Show, or "the fake news" as Stewart used to refer to it, is a tongue-in-cheek take on the day's political events. The show is like an extension of SNL news, but is actually harder hitting. Some people actually admit to getting most of their information about politics from Jon Stewart.

Some of the actors who have been "correspondents" on the Daily Show include Steve Carrel, who now stars in The Office and several blockbuster movies. Another is Ed Helms, who now also has a role in The Office tv show.

The Daily Show is still funny. Now you can watch The Daily Show episodes online for free. There are eight episodes at the link below. These are all free and legal because they were put up by Comedy Central in a partnership deal with the site where they are currently hosted.
