The extravagent and the less extravagent bride

Well, can you guess it!! How do you rate large weddings? Well, I was in the Bridal business when I lived in the UK and found the market in Scotland so different. The girls there were so excited about getting married that all logic went right out the window!! ha ha.... it seems that the MORE they spent on their dress the happier they were!! Where in England, you would find the slightly more frugel girl... um to say the least, lets look for a bargan. I couldn't really understand why the difference between the two when there was only a few hundred miles between the two cultures. The Scottish girl would love to brag about how much she spent on her dress and where the fabric came from and that she had it custom designed. The english girl was more like us americans, always looking for a bargain, but maybe alittle less likely to announce it like us American counterparts. But in the end,it seems, the bliss of the day far outweighted any money spent or not spent to achieve the same goal!! Way to go girls!!
