The feel of Love

Love does mean leaning on someone when you need to.
Kisses are contracts of love and presents when they
come from the heart. They are beautiful and honest
promises of love.
I am strong, stronger than what people think;
but still, I do want for someone else to bring me
flowers, to pamper me and to love me for who I am
part woman, part child, that's me.
But the journey of life takes me through many
times of happiness and sadness, and as I've
learned in my journey I cannot reveal my true self
for the fear that I know we all feel....that awful
word... rejection. So must I continue through life
with only a promise of love. A promise that might
never come true.
