People in India are fighting in and on the name of Rama. This seems a popular comment from the many countries. However, the story is the totally opposite one. The Indian people want to unite in the name of Rama, the ideal of Mahatma Gandhi for the development of the civilization of India. The Lord Rama does not just represent the mythology; it represents the Idealism of Indian Civilization. The Peace and the non-violence, which the Gandhi wanted to spread globally is in the name of Rama. All of the Indian people struggled for the freedom of India with same banner.

The people in the opposition party in the Indian parliament, the BJP (the Bhartiya Janta Party) has the same agenda for the Rama Rajya, which Mahatma Gandhi has. On these bases these two major parties do not differ.

The causes of the differences, which appear significantly propagated, are because of the problem, which India is facing from the times of independence in 1947. The formation of the Congress party was for the freedom of India.

It was a non-political movement to spread the message peace and non-violence. So, Gandhi wanted that there was a need that some of the workers, who want to serve the nation with the simplicity of life, while spreading the message for which India needed independence, make a different group of the social workers, who should not go to the politics. However, for some reasons or the others, it could not happen, though on the vision, which the Gandhi had, the party faced many problems, such that there were the times that the Emergency was emerged as a need for saving the freedom of India.

This broke the spirit of Gandhian Thought in India. On the other hand, the RSS and Vishva Hindu Parishad made the moves for the making of Rama Rajya, the vision of an ideal Country. Their works are voluntary as those are of the ones, who are following the Gandhian Thought.

They live a disciplined life and follow the natural life with the simplicity of life. Both of the parties have people of all religions and the faiths and their dream is same as that of the Rama Rajya, which the Mahatma Gandhi wanted.
