The Gandhian Thought is Dying in India-XXI-The UNO and the World Community Make a Greatest Effort for It
posted October 2, 2007 - 12:20pmOn UNO's Resolution: The Declaration of Mahatma Gandhi's Birthday as the International Day for Nonviolence and Peace
The new chapter of Ram Setu does not seem different from the Babri Masjid problem in the Ayudhya. Now, both the parties claim to have revision for the losing and winning in the elections, however the reason for the Gandhi’s dream for the Rama Rajaya is absent. There are many reasons for it; however, the major one seems that the people, who had the faith in the Gandhian Thought during the freedom struggle and the early decades after the independence in 1947, seem to have decreased rapidly, as there were many great ones, whose sole aim was to make the vision of Ideal India true. It included many great people as the Jai Parkash Narayan, Vinobha Bhave, Baba Sahib Aamte, Sunil Dutt and other many present globally.
The Indians, who join the RSS and Vishav Hindu Parsihad, do not have any non-secular as propagated. If it were true there would not have been people of all religions in these groups, particularly in the RSS, which seem to influence the BJP. The opposition, which appears vividly clear now, is that the people in the nation, who accept the influence of the other cultures and the civilizations, in which the violence is part of spreading the political theories and the anti-Rama movement are getting the stronger hold on the Indian politics.
The communists are increasing with such a great number that mostly they oppose the Lord Rama, while proposing the Communism as the best option for making India an Ideal Country.
In South India the people, who do not even speak Hindi in majority, claim that the drams of making India an ideal country the way Mahatma Gandhi wanted, the Rama’s Ideal India is not the ideal opposition has promoted the communism. The communism is good for those countries, which do not believe in God. The India people, who cannot eat their bread and butter without remembering the Omnipresent, cannot live the way the communist live.
The communists are using the methods of violence as their means for spreading it from early decades of Indian independence. They openly blame the Indian people of any religion for any kind of protests, strikes, agitations and the little violence if ever present, while killing the Indian defense forces and the common people in many parts of India.
The cause for it seems that the two major parties the Congress and the BJP, while having the same dream and vision of ideal India as Mahatma Gandhi had in the name of Rama do think about it. It seems to damage the Indian thought for peace and non-violence in the name of Lord Rama and Mahatma Gandhi. It is a point of great importance that all religions and faiths in India supported Gandhi and the Congress Party.
The BJP on the other hand with RSS has the same support in the name of Lord Rama as they have been the ruling party in India and governing in many states. The points is that if the Rama and the Ideal India is the common ground for both, why there are so many conflicts making the image of India a non-secular country, which she has never been throughout her grand civilization.
While today we celebrate birthday of the one, who said “Hey Ram!” before dying, we may think if he gave call to all Indians to make the nation an Ideal Country as if his last wish. We all salute to him, the soul uttering the name of the Omnipresent, so that the nation may unite in the name of it.
We can do so to serve the world as family, the ideal vision of the most ideal country for which we all believe in the peace and nonviolence. The Indian politicians, authorities and the public is now having more responsible role to play, while we all appeal for the permanent seat of our country in the UNO security council to delegate this Gandhian Thought in practical for the world community.
This declaration for the Gandhian Thought as the International Nonviolence Day is a stepping stone towards this direction for global peace. Thanks and May Peace and Nonviolence Prevail On Earth!
