The Greatest American Dog Recap August 6

Tonight's episode of the Greatest American Dog saw the elimination of a team that was due to go: Brandy and Beacon.

The initial challenge was won by Theresa and Leroy but Theresa realized how much Bill (of Bill and Star) missed his family so she gave the win to him, meaning he would get letters from home. He also got the help of a choreographer for the elimination challenge with the victory, which would be a dance routine to a certain genre of music, with your dog.

There were some very impressive dance routines between the owners and the dogs. And there were some poor ones. Laurie and Andrew did a "Ragtime" dance, which was very good. JD and Galaxy did a "Hip Hop" routine, which I thought was the best. Bill and Star did a "Rockabilly" routine which was also very good. Surprisingly, Laurie and Andrew won Best in Show although I felt they were second or third best.

The bottom 3, and rightfully so, were Laura and Preston, Brandy and Beacon, and Travis and Presley. Finally, after weeks of whining and yelling at her dog, Brandy was expelled from Canine Academy with Beacon.
