The Ground Zero Museum: Striking Photos from the September 11 Recovery

The Ground Zero Museum Web site says on its home page, "IMAGES & REMNANTS FROM THE GROUND ZERO RECOVERY." It's a modest claim for a modest-sized museum, but the photos I've seen are quite powerful. You can see a selection of them at the Ground Zero Museum's Web site at www.groundzeromuseumworkshop.com.

The photos at the non-profit Museum were taken by Gary Marlon Suson, who was the official photographer at Ground Zero for the Uniformed Firefighters Association. But if you want to see them, and the rest of the Museum, you'll probably have to wait for a bit after September 11th, because the Museum is small and, according to the Web site, can only accommodate 25 people for each 90-minute tour.

I haven't made it to the Ground Zero Museum yet, but hope to soon.
