The History of American Animal Ownership Exhibit: "Pets in America"

This travelling exhibit about the history of American animal ownership is called "Pets in America" and will be at Stamford, Connecticut's Stamford Museum and Nature Center on September 13th. It is estimated that pet owners will spend over $40 billion this year on pet products and care. (Source: American Pet Products Manufacturers Association)

The exhibit is manaed by Katherine C. Grier, who also authored the book "Pets in America: A History."
