the Hobby Lobby
the Hobby Lobby
Less than a block from the friendless Super 8 Motel, only feet away from one of the first places I visited upon arrival three years ago to get my Colorado license, stands the great Hobby Lobby.
The size of a super Walmart, it is closed on Sundays "to allow employees time for family and worship." The aisles are littered with families looking for innocent summer distractions, senior citizens hoping to fill their homes with more trinkets to keep them company during the slow crawl towards death, and me, wandering aimlessly to kill time between lives.
Row upon row of shelves overflowing with decorative... crap, that will surely find its way to garage sales, "antique shops," and dumpsters... adorable clutter.

thank you
It took me precisely 17 minutes to locate this comment section. I am new to this wierd xomba thing as I believe you are. Thank you for your comment and good job with that beach comment. I would have said the same thing, though I doubt he would have hit on me as he did you. Though I do admit I would have been deeply flattered. I read your entries and good job; your writing is far more poetic than my slaughtering of literature. I hope you do well in this wierd xomba thing.
