The Importance of First Aid Training

I have been a rescuer for about 13 years and have responded to a lot of emergencies. Once of the most important aspect of survival is during any accident is the simple knowledge of First Aid.

Often when a person suffers an accident, the ambulance may arrive one minute to late most especially if the person has suffered a pulmonary and cardiac arrest.

Providing First aid and Basic Life Support will provide the victim the esential oxygen for brain survival until the ambulance or emergency medical responders arrive.

Life for instance severe bleeding, often the victim goes into shock when bleeding is not controlled causing shock and death.

By learning first aid and knowing how to provide care can always mean the difference between life and death!
