The Joe Biden Vice President Hoax

Could it be that the nomination of Senator Joe Biden as his vice presidential running mate is just a Democratic hoax meant to draw out Republicans and get the McCain camp to spend its limited war chest? Could it be that the Obama campaign is just using Senator Biden as a stand-in until the Democratic National Convention in Denver? Could Hillary Clinton still be in the running?
