Am I the only person not to know about labradoodles? My friends came over today with their new puppy, a labradoodle named Trix. I didn't know that I was so far removed from dog world as not to have any knowledge of them. But, I have to admit, my main ideas about dog breeds come from Lassie, Benji, and wiener dogs. I guess you could say that I'm a cat lover although I only have one cat (named Chairman Meow, cool, huh?). The Chairman did not care for this puppy at all and got all huffy and went to my room to sleep it off.

My friends then told me that they got this breed because it's hypoallergenic. Are you serious? That they are now breeding dogs not to cause allergies amazes me. I checked on line and found this info to share:

I'll just note here that they also mention on that site something about a "yorkipoo" and a "puggle". Since I can only handle learning about one new breed a day, I'll leave those two for another time.
