First There Was Rachel Weisz, then the Writing Green-Brothers ... It's Better-and-Better to Be a Librarian
Uncle MythMan says ...

The Rachel Weisz reference comes from her role in The Mummy, with the perfectly-delivered line, "But I am proud of what I am." Which is? "I ... am a librarian!"

But this latest librarian-reference is made by John Green, a future leader of 'the truly free world' (the mind of the modern reader).

John and his brother Hank Green are writers who have long been the chief webmasters of the NerdFighters at Brotherhood 2.0 (both at their YouTube channel "vlogbrothers" and their discussion-board "In My Pants"). On their discussion-board and video-log (and numerous other places, I'm sure) they discuss their recent writings and readings in various communities of assorted awesomeness.

Below John reports on a recent library-conference at which he (and usually his brother Hank) regularly PWN the place with their overflowing abundance of awesome!

Good Thing I Realized Our Truer Mission, Which Is ...

Well, to those who think they're 'in the know,' my title is a dead giveaway as to what we want (the 'CL'-word); but those are only a step on the path. My mission (below) is only another step on the path. Before, I thought 'our mission' was 'to show how smart we are.' That's close; but this is no horseshoes-and-hand-grenades game! 'Our mission' is more 'to show how we are smart': while that ~may~ include the display of some of that smartness, its main ingredient is 'the content that makes us smart' (that includes all the mindless-media we can show, as well as the stuff we put together)!
