The Live Telecast of Religious and the Other Programs Costs Billions of Dollars-Let Us Learn to Save Time, Money and Energy

In our family and home,we all share one of the great joys, you see we feel so happy that we can view the live telecasts of religious programs from the media through Television. It seems a delightful and soul uplifting. We feel that our religion and the faith is growing and spreading more than ever before. However, the opposite is happening. All the religious places seem to have become the source of income and we the consumers of the product that we know as the live telecast.

Just imagine when we watch a religious program from television, our desire for the touch, smell, hearing and all other forms of Reiki and Healing goes down. Moreover, the channels that broadcast it use time, energy and the money for it. The companies sponsor it. We put on the TV of at least 40 watt on for an hour or two.

If there are 100, 000 TV are on for an hour the electricity it consumes is 40, 00000 watts. Now, the viewer needs a bulb or a tube on. It may be another 40 watts. Therefore, we reach to 80, 000000. Now, the fan or air conditioning becomes another need so we may easily cross the 100, 00000 watts per hour.

The channels are running for 24 hours so we are using billions of watts everyday. We feel we are getting the sports, entertainment, religious, and the endless list of programs, but actually we globally waste, softly saying we are using billions of watts for it. The people dying with diseases, pollution and other problems may have to wait when we save one billion watts for them.

Well, we are rich why should we bother about them? We could have enjoyed the local congregation, sports matches and other activities promoting our local communities, but we are the global fans and heartily dedicated people.

The churches and the temples may be on sale, but our global viewing as the fans for becoming the best viewers does not allow us to think about it.

The global use of the electronics as the TV to any kind of electronic equipment has made us the slaves and we utilize so much energy, time and money that we may create troubles for present and the future generations. We may claim that we use it because we have. We may save this excessive wastage if we try to think that one day we may not have it. The mobiles, Television and the other visuals have almost finished the charm of the real viewing.

We happen to imagine as we view. We cannot create a desire to visit and view or listen to what we view in the television. It is making us the artificial in everything. We may not wish to visit the Church, Temple or the Gurudwara as we have seen all corners of it in the television. It is artificial joy as our real joy is to visit and have it a personal experience.

The Camera has become our common eye; we have to view what it shows not what we can view naturally. Thus, we are conditioning our self to view what the camera shows. Some people claim to the extreme saying that the Camera is the Third Eye. We may pause and think if it is really so.

It is our human need that we save billions of watts, dollars, hours, energy and best utility as an alternative to such moments. We may save our originality, creativity and individuality by promoting our families, local communities and personally developing the talents that we wish to view on the Television.

The media morphine has made our kids, children and the youth inactive for the local to international community, as we are the addicts, and may not leave this artificial charm. We can think it may help someone crying for the personal touch, which we view in the live telecasts. I humbly request that we can make the world family so local that anything happening in our locality becomes an opportunity to act as a good scout and a girl guide. Thanks!
