New Monopoly board game, "Electronic Banking" is fun for everyone!

Up till now I was ashamed to admit that I hated, loathed, and despised Monopoly. I remember the dread I felt whenever someone suggested at a party that we play Monopoly. I'm not sure if it was the fake money floating all around, the ease with which other players could cheat, the fact that the game could last for hours on end, or having your houses, hotels, and paper money fly off the board every time the wind blew or someone walked by briskly.

If you're like me, the new Monopoly board game edition, "Electronic Banking" will be your favorite new pastime! Developed by Parker Brothers and released a few months ago, the game gives each player a credit card with $15 Million to start the game. All of the original rules apply but all money is kept track of electronically on these handy credit cards. The game comes with a card reader to assess the value remaining on each card and both and add subtract profit and losses throughout the game.

Additionally, the board has been updated with new properties. Instead of Park Place and Boardwalk for instance are replaced with properties like Wrigley Field and Disney
Land.

I had the pleasure of playing the new Monopoly on Christmas with my boyfriend and his family. We were yelling, screaming, hooting and hollering for the full hour that our game lasted. I don't think I've ever had so much fun playing a board game before and I highly recommend this new game to friends and families.

You can easily purchase the game at Amazon.com, Walmart.com or Toysrus.com and it retails for $69.99 but can be bought for as low as $40 with a little bit of research. Believe me...the fun lasts for hours and the game is worth every penny!

Enjoy your new Monopoly game and don't forget to collect $2 Million as you pass go!

I really appreciate your feedback. I only signed up a few days ago and I'm having a great time...I hope the $$$ rolls in soon but if not, I'm really enjoying writing again.

Since college I've been itching to get my pen (or in this case computer) out.

Cheers,
Joelle

Your article made me more interested

Well I have heard of this and think it might actually be fun now. I too rather hated the old monopoly game but this could be fun and educational as well for the kids.
