the office - are you a fan?

Congratulations! to my favorite television show, The Office, for winning the Emmy award for best comedy show. I love this show.

Although this is an unusual show, with a rather dry and mundane humor, there's something about it that makes you want to watch it.

The characters of course , each have their own individual personalities and they play their roles rather well. The cast also plays well off of each other. Maybe it has such an appeal because this is what every day real office life is about.

There is one week left until the season premiere. What is going to happen?

I recently counted all of the relationships going on in that one office, and came up with five of them. Interesting.

I wish them the best and continued success in their new season.

If you too are a fan, you might want to check out their site. Along with video clips and biographies of of the actors, you can also participate in the message boards.

Regardless of how many times I see this promo, it still makes me cry. It usually starts up right after Michael tells Jim not to ever give up.

Pam and Jim

I can say about how this might turn out is to go by the British version where in the last episode the Jim character (Tim by the way)throws caution to the wind and gets turned down even though you know the Pam character (I forget her name)wants him. Since Ricky Gervias and Stephen Merchant are Executive Producers of the American version they might follow this storyline again. The British version is much more uncomfortably funny. I think the actors and the comedy is much better in the American version but the British version makes you squirm and go "Wow, I can't believe they said/did that." Alot of the storylines are the same with a little different take.

Haven't had a chance to see

Haven't had a chance to see the British version, but the reviews say it is very good. Although the American version has won my heart, I'm just a bit nervous about what's going to happen on next week's show. Of course there's the way that we would like it to happen, but the actual turnout is entirely up to the writers, and they aren't even giving a hint. I don't have cable, so I get one channel on my television and that is NBC. Thank goodness. Sometimes it doesn't come in clearly, but I still watch it anyway. My favorite on the show is Jim, but I like all of them just in different ways. The first show I watched was the episode where Michael burned his foot. The show was so usual, I just had to keep watching it. It is almost as if they are family. I'm not sure if you're aware of it, but Pam, Kevin, Phyllis's boyfriend, Ryan, Roy, Creed, Toby , Meredith, Darryl, and Angela all have their own myspace pages. Pam has a bunch of photos from the Emmy awards on her page. There's even a premier countdown clock. Most of the pages are really cool. Kat

The extras

I just got done watching the first two seasons of the British Version on DVD. It is great. I love the American version as well but they are very different. Stephen Merchant and Ricky Gervias are at there best, to me, in the Extras from HBO. Even more over the top than the Office.

I'm a huge fan

I love the office. It's the best comedy on TV. 10 times better than My name is earl. It is really clever and entertaining and has the perfect cast--esp Steve Carrell. The british version is even more over the top...
