posted January 10, 2008 - 9:43pmNote: I was asked to write a story for one of my classes for a kid. So I wrote this to help my niece understand the importance of keeping her room clean. The name is fiction and the story is mix with fiction and non-fiction. Let me know what you think. Thanks
THE PRINCESS AND THE WRECK
Once upon a time there was a princess named Hanah; she was the most beautiful little princess that ever existed. She liked everything in pink: she had a pink bed, with pink mattress, pink blanket, and pink pajama. She liked all princess dolls and all princess dresses and most of all Dora the Explorer.
Every time she went out with her mother to a store she would say, “mommy I want that” to anything pink and everything that has to do with princess or Dora the Explorer. Every few minutes she would say “mommy I want that and that and that.”
The mother of this princess was getting very annoyed, so she took her out of the store without getting her anything. You know why? Because this princess has everything at home; she has 25 princess dolls, 15 Dora dolls and a lot more.
The mother got home with her daughter and the daughter goes raging up the stairs to her room. She closes the door and turns her room upside down. Her mother goes up to see what all that racket and she was Shocked! She told the princess to clean up her room. The princess refused to clean up her room.
The mother decided to stay quite for the rest of the day. She was giving her daughter the silent treatment. The princess did not like it at all! She was mad so she went to talk to her mother, but the mother was not talking to her. She asked her “mommy are you mad at me?” The princess’s mother did not reply, but she did nod. The princess got furious, “why isn’t mommy answering me?” she though.
The princess didn’t know what to do since her mother will not answer her. She thought and thought and then she remembered that her mother was mad when she saw her room. What is the princess supposed to do now?
She decided she will go and clean up her room. “Maybe mommy will not be mad anymore?” she thought to herself.
After cleaning up her room, she went smiling to her mother. Her mother looked at her and the princess said, “I have a surprise.” The princess takes her mother’s hand and up they go to her room. When the door was thrown open, the mother was shocked. Everything had been picked up and the room looked nearer than ever.
The mother than takes her princess out and buys her double chocolate fudge ice cream! She told her princess, “Mommy is very proud of you!”
THE END!
