The right amount of sleep for teenagers

Studies have shown that lack of sleep can cause some problems. It is noted that the body should have the right amount of sleep each day to function effectively.

Teenagers need to get plenty of sleep. It is advised that 8 and a half hours to 9 hours is the ideal sleep time for teenagers every night. This will make the body feel good and keep the body healthy.

The U.S. Department of Health have issued warning signs which will give an idea if the body does not have enough sleep or lack the right amount of sleep. Here are the following signs courtesy of the U.S. Department of Health

- Difficulty getting out of bed in the morning as you wake up
- Problems on focusing, with simple things and task
- Falling asleep during class hours
- Feelings of depression
- Irritability
- Being moody
- Sad

Be aware of these warning signs. The right amount of sleep is clearly important for every individual. It will not only keep your body fit but will also help prevent accidents or injuries.
