The Right Write

The Right Write

It isn't easy to always write what people want to read, I find that my best, favorite, articles are usually just ones that pop into my head out of the blue. The ones that I enjoy writing, not the ones that are topic oriented so to speak. I have written for other sites and found that if the topic is chosen for me, or picked from a list, I have a real hard time focusing and the writing just feels like work - not that enjoyable. When I am inspired to write something, it just flows. Lately I have had many inspirations, just things that hit me all of a sudden - usually when I have no pen or paper or when I am laying in bed ready to sleep, and I cannot sleep until I get up and write the idea down (this drives my spouse crazy). I am like a writing "Xombie", or something, there are days when I have to force myself to stop writing.
Now I carry a pen and writing book with me everywhere because I never know when an idea will come, and there seems to be no end. I can't get enough, I don't want to stop. There always seems to be another topic or idea, inspiration is all around and once I start, everything around sort of fades away and I am drawn into my own imagination where the words sprout from my fingertips.
I have all but given up trying to write what I think people want to read and now just let myself write whatever comes naturally. At times, I may do some research, but mostly it comes from my head, my experience, and my heart.
