The Rotavirus Vaccine

The human Rota virus is a highly contagious disease that causes severe vomiting and diarrhea in infants and young children around the world, killing 600,000 children annually.

A Rota Virus Vaccine that was used in the United States is proving to be very effective in delaying the onset of the rota virus season by three months and reducing its severity by about half.
