Chistopher McCandless was a man that decided to go out and live on his own in the wild. He wanted to experience complete solitude and live off of the land. He did this in Alaska. He was only 24 years old on what could have been a great spirtual and intellectual journey for the young man. He kept a journal of his experiences. After his death, a book called Into the Wild was written about his life. Chris McCandless had become somewhat famous because of this book.
