Back in the first few days of July of this year, nine Saudi nationals were discovered trying to arrange for a helicopter tour of Los Angeles, including the skyscrapers. Three were arrested and released by the LAPD under orders from someone high-up in Washington, who claimed the men were part of a government-sanctioned training event.

There are no direct links to this event on the web, even though the story appeared on ABC news July 4th.

By itself, this would seem odd, but not really troublesome. But, coupled with warnings by Michael Chertoff, Homeland Security Director, stating that the West Coast is open to a terrorist attack, this is not easily dismissed.

Back in late August, two "Middle Eastern"-looking men were seen acting strangely on ferry boats in Washington. The FBI had solicited the public's help in identifying them. It is noteworthy that "'Middle Eastern'-looking men" is mediaspeak for "Israelis".

Again, by itself, this would seem odd but not really troublesome. But, going back to 9/11 there were dozens of reports of "Middle Eastern"-looking men--later found to be Israeli nationals and IDF reservists--found to be sketching the interiors of federal buildings, and casing the homes of federal officials and office buildings (WTC included), oil production facilities, bridges, tunnels, and airfields. Nothing came of it, as these men that were arrested were released by the FBI and allowed to return to Israel without questioning.
