The Truth of Jesus Christ is O-U-R Responsibility

The Truth of Jesus Christ is O-U-R Responsibility

Saying 'OUR,' I don't mean 'only Christians''- or 'only super-genii of German descent's'- or 'only conquerors of death's'-responsibility; I mean EV-ER-Y-BO-DY'S responsibility!

What is that truth? Even ESPN will tell you: "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Did you see both parts there? The Giving of the Truth and the Believing? If someone gives the Truth (different from 'the truth,' in that–I suppose–the Truth stands undiminished in the face of whatever falsehood one might somehow attach to it), and it is not believed; then–as actually-true as it may be–it is made into a lie by they who do not believe.

They who do not believe can then go about their daily lives—hating everything that doesn't gush love, being surprised when everything hates them back. But the Truth remains given for them to believe.

And the only way to properly believe is "with the fullness of your Being:" the words of your mouth, the intents of your action and the 'desirings of your heart' (most guys shouldn't be able to see the difference between "hearts' desirings" and "actions' intents," which is good; but we who can't achieve our intents know that our desirings are the most-powerful tools we can hope for—they are like "magnetic organizers" that make "what we non-achievers can reach more-like what we really want.")

That is the pathway to the Kingdom of Heaven: believing that God so loves you that He gives you the example of His Son—a man who brought the Holy Spirit to the world through his actions. 'Believing in his example' is not "paying the lip-service unto his sacrifice and then going about in defiance of the Spirit!" No; 'believing in him' is (as bad as it might sound) patterning your 'groove in the wax' after His groove in the wax.

Though I might hope that Nick and Publius and JDubHub and AngelSkates and AngelInHotPants and Tapral and AntoniaDwells and IdleWild and AmandaBerryman and ChrisCrow and LaraTacita and JCLewis all agree with me and with MarsHill's Ben Nockels and Aaron-&-Sara Stimpson and Melodie-&-Lee Cantrell and Arsen Mousissian and Allen and Ryan and Harley and Norman and all the many-many blesséd ones, I can't say that they do; they have to come here and verify their beliefs before I can surely say anything!
